Michelle Namata

Managing Director

Experience:

Michelle offers knowledge and experience in project management, public relations as well as in digital marketing. Over the years, she has perfected her skills in email, inbound, content and video marketing, and also has copious experience from Twitter flight school. Michelle has worked with some of Uganda’s most prominent brands, including Airtel, Anwar Soussa, UBL, NSSF, Centenary Bank, Patrick Bitature, Alliance Française, among others. At Kwanza Communications, Michelle leads the team and oversees projects.

Florence Kyohangirwe

Head of Public Relations

Experience:

Florence believes that branding is everything, be it for a prominent social figure, events or a small entity. She has a degree in Mass Communication and uses media relations to elevate client profiles as her role is to connect clients to both new and old media every chance she gets. Her creativity and independent non-conforming approach to campaigns breathe new life to clients’ brand vision. She has spearheaded projects like the Uganda Tax Survey, developed communications strategies for Uganda German Cultural Society, The US Mission’s Art Envoy Program, Alliance Française’ Fete de la Musique, Uganda Police’s Uganda Association of Women Police, and the list goes on.

Edwinnah Kasidi

Head of Finance and Administration

Experience:

As the Head of Finance and Administration, Edwinnah ensures that Kwanza’s operations are running smoothly to facilitate customer satisfaction. With over nine years’ experience in finance and administration, Edwinnah has worked in various capacities and possesses extensive knowledge in business dynamics and advisory services. She consults for SME’s and start-ups in matters including financial management, product development, and cost analysis. Her belief is that every business can succeed if there is passion, purpose, and strategy.

Agasha Pearl Denise

Head of Client Services

Experience:

An award-winning blogger of the annual World Bank Blog for Development competition, Pearl Denise Agasha is passionate about writing, reading, and networking. With a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Journalism major to her name, Pearl is currently the Head of Client Services at Kwanza Communications. She has practiced Communications since 2016, actively doing digital marketing, activation and offering PR advice to clients like Patrick Bitature, the Bitature Foundation, JJET Security Company and Goethe-Zentrum Kampala to mention but a few. Pearl boasts of great interpersonal skills and a bubbly personality.

Robert Sebunya

Digital Technologist

Experience:

Robert Sebunya is an illegitimate love-child of numbers, analytics and marketing, with 12 years’ experience in the tech and digital marketing space with interests in social, cloud, web & mobile. He has worked on brands in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Canada, including Airtel, Bell Lager, Ciroc, Centenary, DFCU, UBA, NSSF, URSB, Goethe Zentrum , Alliance Francaise and many others.  Robert served as an Ad Man with WPP under Scan group Africa, and led digital teams at agencies like J Walter Thompson and Blu Flamingo as a strategist.

Anne Whitehead

Communications Strategist

Experience:

Anne is trained in public relations, research and data analysis, international development and cross-cultural communications. She offers extensive skills in non-profit and business consulting, strategic messaging, multi-media production, stakeholder relations and project management. Anne holds a Master of Professional Communication from Ryerson University in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from McGill University in Montréal, Canada. She also holds a certificate in Data Analysis for Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
